NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF JAPANESE CANADIANS

The Greater Toronto Chapter of the National Association of Japanese Canadians (NAJC) is a community founded association “to promote and develop a strong Japanese Canadian identity and thereby to strengthen local communities and the national organization” (NAJC, ND). They focus on equal right and liberties for all persons - in particular the rights of racial and ethnic minorities (NAJC, ND).

LOGO REDESIGN

In the Fall of 2021, the Greater Toronto Chapter of the National Association of Japanese Canadians redesigned their logo. This project looked into core brand values, branding, and symbolic meanings of key motifs.

75TH ANNIVERSARY

In October 2022, the NAJC celebrated their 75th anniversary in which a 75th emblem, banner and 60 page souvenir booklet was commissioned for their event
